WAMS Parent/Student Handbook

CHIP Pennsylvania's Children's Health Insurance Program Information

Attention Parents and Students

Because the third marking period will end so late in April, the National Junior Honor Society qualification letters will be hand delivered to qualifying students during the last week of April. Included with the letter will be a FAQ sheet as well as a student information form which must be filled in, signed, and returned to Mrs. Troop in Room 111 by May 3rd. Students have had access to a portion of this form (where signatures are required) since October and were advised to start obtaining any necessary signatures then to avoid a sudden scramble at the last minute. If you feel your student might qualify for NJHS based on his/her grades, please discuss this form with him/her. If your child does not receive a qualification letter by April 27th but you feel he/she should have qualified for NJHS consideration, please contact Mrs. Troop at (570)226-4557, ext. 4111, by May 1.
